Hello, my name is Aisha Ojha and I live in Dallas, Tx. I am a Social Work Masters student and my concentration is Mental Health and Substance Abuse. One of the reasons I am participating in this pageant is because I want to help fight the "perfect body" stigma that exists in our community and my goal is to help my students understand that beauty is much more than looks.

As the Goodwill Ambassador of the Soarway Foundation, the charity project that I have in mind will focus on the betterment of the mental health of the earthquake survivors. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, and anxiety are some of the common mental health issues that one faces after going through a life changing disaster and there isn’t enough evidence to suggest that these areas have been explored yet. Therefore, I want to bring more focus in this sector and help fight the stigma that these topics might carry amongst us.
